Each day we noticed the social differences in our country, we see on television, college, trade, work, etc.. In Chile we find 3 recognized social classes, upper class, middle class and lower class. The latter being the most affected, since, their salaries are too low for the needs they face, their resources are limited and must work twice or three times to stay. On the other side is the upper class, are the most fortunate belonging to good families who inherit large companies, or property, have good jobs, good education and can continue to grow at the expense of the poorest who have to carry all the burdens on work, lack of good education and have many needs. But let back into the middle class, are better off, but still have large gaps, and should work enough to stay in this group. Clearly this situation must change, it is possible that the resources of chile are so badly distributed that the wealth is aggregated in a group as a minority and the majority must work so hard to have a quality of living. But how can we fix this? ¿Open a short term solution? Or we should just wait and trust in our leaders ...
Always the high class is considered as the best and the lower class is always disregard. I find it so unfair because all the people is important and we have to consider every person, the social class ... it does not matter.

ReplyDeleteI don't think the high class is considered as the best, i think the most of people think the high class is arrogant and underestimates all the other classes, most of normal people try to evade the high class people more than a lower class person.
ReplyDeleteI think the best solution or best tool to bridge the gap between social classes is the education...because through education we can change our social status...but this will never be possible if our leaders as you said...doesn't do anything for bring all people no matter your soccial status..an equal opportunity in education.
ReplyDeleteI think clearly there is a bad distribution of resources in Chile, because the economic gap between the richest and the poorest is immense. But also, the rich people in Chile are few and most of the population is distributed in the lower class and in the(in my opinion) so-called middle class, because the Chilean middle class lives with a salary slightly higher than the lower class but has almost no benefit for the state so well just live with it.
