Martin Luther King "A legend who left footprints"

Martin Luther King
"A legend who left footprints"

"We have learned to fly like birds, swim like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living as brothers."
Undoubtedly one of the most celebrated phrase of Martin Luther King, but who was Martin Luther King? No doubt this man was one of the most emblematic of the world and especially U.S. This man was responsible for promoting the feeling of equality and freedom especially to their peers of color, especially those living in the United States (which was his country). Very young King was dedicated to fighting for equal application of laws to all citizens of color who lived in the United States.
Well and without question this man is a character worth remembering and commemoration for all their efforts against the American apartheid and racial discrimination without the use of violence, a feat that deserves to be remembered in the world. Martin Luther King has earned my admiration for the endless activities organized by pacifists and in which he participated and awarded him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 was one of the best decisions I could have taken. In those years when Martin Luther King was very difficult not to resort to violence, but he never gave up and never gave up hope that his new form of struggle bear fruit and awaken their peers the same vision that he had.
From a young age, this champion of civil rights pacifists organized various activities to claim the right to vote, non-discrimination and other basic civil rights for black people in the United States and even to carry out all activities mentioned was several times since in prison he never gave up and never backed down to their ideals while being a revolutionary he had many enemies who just wanted him dead. Among his most memorable are the Montgomery Bus Boycott in 1955,supported the founding of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC)in 1957 (in what would become the first president) and his leadership in the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963, which ultimately would issue his famous "I Have a Dream" speech by Martin Luther King that swept the country public awareness of the importance of equality and civil and human rights and because of that speech was consolidated as one of the greatest orators in U.S. history. The video "I Have a Dream" can be found on the Internet and makes clear all the ideas I had Luther King about his ideals, is a very emotional video, both for its content and how to pray for this man conviction with which speech makes it clear he wants and dreams and every dream can come true if you want and put everything in their power to make things better. All this was reflected in that speech makes it clear where his "dream" to change the attitude toward blacks and their desire to achieve social equality and justice for all, but with current technologies and globalization I realized that today, there are still discriminations worldwide not only racist in the field but also on the issue of homophobia. So my question is where the endless concrete effects of their proclamations? And although it sounds bad, unfortunately all the efforts of this distinguished man had the desired results (at least not entirely) because Luther King's dream of obtaining equality for all through peaceful means while he was spokesman for those social movements , but then, after his unfortunate death, other groups of black races if they opted for the use of violence in various occasions and therefore questioned the good intentions Martin had in his speeches, including some of the conflicts they faced these black groups were of much violence and much bloodshed them, which Luther King was precisely to avoid.

Below is a video very interesting about the speech but remembered Luther King "I have a dream", enjoy.
